But what if she’s the next Sofia Vergara?!
Crazy lady left a message on our office voicemail this morning:
5 mins of asking to talk to Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman & Liam Neeson (“husband of Natasha… who died… Richardson…”), singing, praying in Spanish, literally giving a chronological bio of her life & family tree in Mexico. Wants Robin Williams as her agent.
She talked so long, it cut off. She’s probably in Mexico still talking to a phone that’s not listening. -
Beliefs are beliefs; Whether it’s religion, lifestyle, morals. No one is 100% right & until we realize this, there will always be conflict.

The Perennial Plate
I’m not one for preaching my beliefs or trying to get others to believe them. In fact, I can’t stand when someone tries to shove their holier-than-thou crap down my throat. I simply do what I think is right & what I believe in, then sometimes offer resources for those who may be looking for more information. This is one of those times… The Perennial Plate offers information on “adventurous & sustainable eating”… they don’t push vegetarianism or veganism or any other food lifestyle. Instead, it’s how to eat the way you want to eat, but how to do so in a more eco-friendly fashion.

Priceless Bachmann

On today’s accidental theme of strange things Tea Party Republicans say… We have some of Michele Bachmann’s most memorable quotes:
“I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president Jimmy Carter. And I’m not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it’s an interesting coincidence.”
“And what a bizarre time we’re in, when a judge will say to little children that you can’t say the pledge of allegiance, but you must learn that homosexuality is normal and you should try it.”
“If we took away the minimum wage - if conceivably it was gone - we could potentially virtually wipe out unemployment completely because we would be able to offer jobs at whatever level.”
“Normalization [of gayness] through desensitization. Very effective way to do this with a bunch of 2nd graders is take a picture of ‘The Lion King’ for instance, and a teacher might say, ‘Do you know that the music for this movie was written by a gay man?’ The message is: ‘I’m better at what I do, because I’m gay.’”
“Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn’t even one study that can be produced that shows carbon dioxide is a harmful gas.”
[Hold on a tic right there… One, I think she may have been exposed to excessive amounts of CO2. Two, it’s extremely dangerous that people may believe this.]“A woman [Terry Schiavo] was healthy. There was brain damage, there was no question. But from a health point of view, she was not terminally ill.”

Well, gosh darnit America, this is Palin’s vocabulary workshop!
Oh, Ms. Palin… So many Tea Partiers love you. I can’t stand to look at your face. It’s reminiscent of the way I used to feel when I looked at Dubya’s; the difference being that he’s just an idiotic political marionette, while you, I’m pretty sure, are pure hypocritical evil.
Here’s just a couple of the faces you’ve made as our potential new “celebrident”…

Not only do I think you have more skeletons in the closet than Cheney, but you rely more on your celebrity status than political aptitude to gain minions. Perhaps this is because, otherwise middle Americans who actually posses the ability & drive to vote might begin to notice how self-righteous, close-minded, unbudging, prejudiced, hollow and old-fashioned (to a fault) you actually are.
I get nearer to vomiting each time I listen to you speak and realize that there is a small chance that our country could be run by someone who is not only inexperienced & unwilling to take into account how ALL Americans feel, but who also speaks like a trigger-happy 4th grader from 50’s television. It’s irritating, not to mention disconcerting, when leadership hopefuls use euphemisms for God & Jesus that date back to the 18th century in conjunction with the word “reload.” Explain to me how a sense of peace, adaptation and “changing with the times” is supposed to stem from that… Oh wait, you don’t want it to!
I don’t think we’ll stop seeing articles similar to this one anytime soon:
www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/25/sarah-palin-reloads-lamestream-media_n_840490.htmlKathleen Madigan doesn’t seem to like your ever-growing list of childish vocab either, as evidenced in one of a few bits she’s based around you:

Isn't "gay republican presidential candidate" a huge oxymoron?

Idiot Tango
You have GOT to be kidding me… The Westboro Baptist morons are at it again. Their bigotry baffles me.
Not nearly as disgusting as trying to protest the Arizona shooting victims’ funerals (see here: www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2011/01/westboro-baptist-church-to-picket-funeral-of-arizona-shooting-vi), but it’s certainly up there.
Phelps’ minions see Taylor as a “gay enabler” and take issue with her AIDS activism. I can’t wait until this kind of ignorance & distaste for actual human compassion is evolved out of our species.

It’s not a disease… you can’t cure it.
Apple agreed to pull the iPhone app aiming to “cure” gays… Finally Apple does something right again.
It never ceases to amaze me when I think about the number of people who are so concerned with everyone else’s lifestyle that they focus on creating hateful, ignorant software like this. As I (and many others) have said for years… “If you don’t like gay marriage, don’t get one.” Try as you might, bigots, gay couples, gay marriage and gay adoption are on their way out of the universal closet. We’re coming (out) to getcha!!

In honor of National Puppy Day, I bring back my favorite video...
